Course objectives

Equip participants with the necessary intuitions to understand how to work on an AI strategy for several types of entities in both the private and public sector, including established companies as well as startups and governments at various levels.

Content summary

Based on a decade of experience in Silicon Valley / the San Francisco Bay Area and of teaching both technical classes and executive education programs, the course works from the ground up to build a strategic intuition of various areas of AI and how AI can be successfully integrated into an existing company or be integral and fundamental part of digital-native startups. In addition, students will develop the knowledge necessary to identify common difficulties that arise in a corporation as it builds and deploys an AI strategy, and how to trouble-shoot them.

Finally, participants will be exposed to multiple practical examples from different industries and with companies of very different nature, so that they can bring their learnings to corporations old and young, large and small.

Teaching methods

Classes are largely interactive and the focus is on discussion and on working through practical problems together, both at the level of the whole class and of teams.

Presentations by the instructor and the participants will punctuate and provide rhythm to the program.


Various texts and videos will be circulated before the beginning of the program. In addition to some mandatory materials, several resources will be provided to enable students to perform deep dives in different directions should they wish to do so.
