This course covers the basic concepts of operations research which can be used in decision making and in planning new product / services.

Content summary

  • Forecasting: cognitive biases, basic forecasting techniques, forecasting techniques accounting for demand seasonality and trends.
  • Game theory: Basic concepts of games, competition and equilibria.
  • Reliability engineering: calculation of probability of failure of systems as function of the failure probabilities of its components
