Paolo Carta

Paolo Carta is Professor of Political Theory and History of Political Thought at the Faculty of Law and the School of International Studies at the University of Trento. Member of the Executive Committee (Columbia University – The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America). Visiting Professor at Columbia University (New York City) at École Normale Supérieure (Lyon) and fellow of The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America (Columbia University – New York City). He lectured at École Normale Supérieure, Columbia University (New York City), HSE (Moscow) and University of Oxford (Wolfson College). He works on Machiavelli, political judgement, leadership, plurality, teamwork, islands and insularity.
