Roberto Napoli

Roberto Napoli collected several experiences in different sectors and countries before starting his career at the University of Trento (Italy) as an “International Graduate Programs Manager” in 2008. He worked as a radio reporter both in Italy (Radio RAIUNO) and in Austria (ORF-Radio1476), served as a Business Developer at the Chamber of Commerce in Trieste, Italy and was visiting researcher at the ZEW – Centre for European Economic Research, Mannheim, Germany during his PhD in Economics of Innovation in Milan (IULM).
As an Assistant to the Rector of the University of Trento, his specific task has been for years to enlarge the international student population on campus and enhance international students’ experience in Trento, especially in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He currently serves as a project manager at the SOI-School of Innovation, and as a business advisor for innovation. He is actively involved in challenge based learning in his role as Challenge Coordinator at UniTrento in the framework of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities – ECIU. He sits in the Board of Directors of the Global Innovation Management Institute in Boston, USA.
